You Found Me!
Once upon a time, before the advent of social media, people had "Personal Home Pages" and "Email".
Rather than getting an algorithmic feed of posts from people you may or may not know,
you went to a website that your friend created themselves or hosted on something like
GeoCities. Perhaps you also visited a specific business website before there was Amazon.
In an effort to detach myself from social media influence and distraction, and encourage you to do the same, I offer
this little page that hearkens back to maybe a simpler time.
Who Am I?
I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I've been working in technology for quite a while, spending my career dancing between
software engineering and leadership roles. I am a daywalker--I can talk to both computers and people and enjoy both.
I currently run several software engineering teams.
Raised in the small town of Mansfield, TX, I grew up a bit of an outsider. I struggled socially until I found my tribe
and my own way of being.
These days, I blog (but won't tell you where), work on 2d video games, cycle, hike and play tabletop role-playing games. I also do
that weird "mindfulness" thing where you sit and stare at walls to make you a better person. I've mostly studied zen and vipassana.
